In addition to 238 kilometres of pistes, Ischgl offers almost as many opportunities to enjoy the winter away from the ski slopes. No matter whether in the valley or on the mountain: in Ischgl, every guest will find the right experience off the slopes.
A winter hike or snowshoe hike through the Ischgl mountains offers the ideal combination of sport and nature enjoyment. The groomed and marked winter hiking trails lead the way through the untouched landscape around Ischgl. Discover wonderful paths and hidden places.
In Ischgl and Galtür you will find more than 70 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails that offer pure sporting enjoyment for pleasure skiers and endurance athletes. The altitude guarantees snow until spring and a perfect infrastructure for gentle gliding or training.
With seven kilometres, the night toboggan run in Ischgl is one of the longest toboggan runs in the Alps. High up at 2,320 metres at the mountain station of the Silvretta cable car, your tobogganing pleasure starts on the brightly lit toboggan run amidst the winter landscape of the Tyrolean winter sports resort. The toboggan run is closed during the day! If you still want to toboggan during the day, you will find prepared toboggan runs in Kappl and See!
